A branding session at Park Hill Studios for Sandy from "Because ... Dogs", her dog training service. As a Guelph Family and Branding Photographer, it was so helpful that Sandy was very communicative before the session. She had a vision for the story she wanted to show in the branding photos and came very prepared on the day. I had a great time bringing her vision to life (how could you not with all of the dogs around?!).

A cozy in-home lifestyle baby session as a Guelph Family and Newborn Photographer. It's always special to be welcomed into someone's home and to capture photos where people are most comfortable. This sweet girl was 4 months old. It is never too late to book a "newborn" session. This stage of a baby's life allows for photos of the baby sitting up and capturing their changing facial expressions!

Returning clients mean so much to me. Having the opportunity to build a relationship, get to know people on a personal level, and capture these once in a lifetime moments is really what being a Guelph Family and Couple Photographer is all about for me. Maternity sessions with a toddler can be ... unpredictable. This couple came in with the best attitude! No expectations of getting the "perfect" photo of them and their energetic two year old boy. They embraced the chaos, understood that candid photos were our best opportunity to get him to smile, and brought toys and snacks to keep him busy while we took photos of just the two of them. As a Guelph Family and Maternity Photographer, I had so much fun with them.

Another branding session with the always lovely Sarah D Extensions. An opportunity for Sarah to update her headshots, capture candid photos of her in action and practicing her techniques, and highlight products she sells. I really enjoyed this family session in the snow, as a Guelph Family Photographer. The family is moving, so this session was extra special to capture their beautiful home and property before they leave. It was a perfect mix of candid documentary style photos and more posed family and individual photos.

The first snowfall of the year set the scene perfectly for a day of Christmas Petites at Park Hill Studios in Cambridge, Ontario. As a Guelph family photographer, it was such a joy to capture festive holiday moments for these families.

Fall Petites were a success this year! Thank you so much to all of the families who came out for mini sessions at the Guelph Arboretum in October. As a Guelph Family Photographer, I had so much fun capturing candid and posed moments for these sweet families. It was a great mix of couples, families with babies, families with older kids, and of course, a few dogs.

This cutie loved the camera...and the camera clearly loved her! The autumn colours were popping during this session in the Guelph Arboretum. It is a beautiful...and busy time of year as a Guelph Family Photographer!

A newborn session at Wildfield Studio in Guelph. Bright, airy and neutral...it is a beautiful space for a newborn session if you don't feel like having it in your home (I know how tiring those first few weeks are and you might not feel up for having someone in your home or making it tidy).

Recently, I had the unique opportunity to photograph a lab at the University of Waterloo. A brilliant and kind professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering asked me to capture photos of her undergraduate and graduate students in the lab and the field. I don't just specialize in family photos, but I also photograph headshots, branding sessions, and other work scenarios. Also, I will happily travel to Waterloo and other cities around Guelph.

A fun evening spent at Huron Natural Area in Kitchener. As a Guelph Family Photographer, I am happy to travel to other local cities, especially if you have young kids!

Another Fresh 48 in the books at Milton District Hospital! The natural light was beautiful in this room and created some wonderful highlights and shadows. It really does feel like such a privilege to meet these babies when they are around 24 hours old and document this time for families.

A golden hour maternity session in Guelph, Ontario. I loved that this couple incorporated so many personal touches into their photo session from their little one's ultrasound pictures, baby shoes, a baby book, to a teddy bear from their babymoon in London.

I had the best time photographing Mango and her owner in the Guelph Arboretum. This session came together so well between the golden hour light, the wardrobe, and the Arboretum in full sumer greenery. I love animals and as a Guelph family photographer, I love to include them in photo sessions!

As a Guelph family photographer, I was so glad I could use my business to give a little something back to the LGBTQ+ community for Pride month... a free session to this lovely couple. We had a lot of fun in the Guelph Arboretum during golden hour. Thank you to everyone who entered my contest in June.
