Summer Lovin'
A beautiful session to celebrate this couple's 2 year anniversary. They wanted a "country-style" couple's photo session and I think we nailed it at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre grounds. Romantic and dreamy.
You may be hesitant to book a session because you are unsure of how to pose in front of a camera. As a Guelph Family and Couples Photographer, I hear this so often (including during this session). I like to do a mix of posed and candid shots. With the posed photos, I will ask you to "stand here, look at each other with your arms around his neck and his arms on your waist." Where as with candid shots, I will give you some direction and prompts to help create candid moments. For example, sneak up behind her, wrap your arms around her, lift her in the air and twirl her. These types of prompts, give you some direction and things to do to create photos with movement and candid facial expressions. You are not alone in being nervous or unsure in front of the camera, but it is part of my job to make you feel comfortable and to direct you to create moments, all you need to do is be yourself and interact lovingly with your partner.
